Tom Johnson: (b. 1959) Represented by Johnson Gallery, on the first floor at Whaler's Wharf. CRepresented in countless collections. From the Artist: I moved to Provincetown from Houston, Texas in June of รข_x001a__x001a_99. Having enjoyed photography most of my life, the Cape seemed to be the perfect place. The natural beauty and the great light found on the tip of the Cape make for a photographer's dream. I have tried to capture as many of my favorite "Scenes of Provincetown" as possible. The architecture in this quaint, little New England town provides for some wonderful backdrops. There is also nothing like a walk along the lily ponds in Beech Forest, catching a sunset at Herring Cove or standing on the very tip of Long Point and looking at the panoramic view across the harbor and bay. The scenery and views are absolutely stunning. All of my photos are actual photos with no digital enhancement I like the natural look so I do not use a polarizer. Basically, what you see in one of my photographs is what I saw when the photo was taken. Tom Johnson
