Bruce McKain: (1900-1990) Studied: Herron AI 1918-22, with Charles Hawthorne, 1928-33. Member of PAAM, Beachcombers. Exhibited at: NA, 1938, PAAM, 1934,36,39, WFNY, 1939. Lived in Provincetown from 1928 on except for stint in Stonington, CT for war work (1943) and in Sarasota, FL (1955-56) for work on Ringling Bros. Circus where he painted sets. He has been compared to Aldro T. Hibbard. Very well collected and sought out artist.
