Albert Edel: (1890 - 1969) Strong affiliation with Provincetown and Massachusetts. Often known for his marine renderings.He had a shop in Provincetown in the 1960's. Was a predominant etcher.FROM ASKART: Albert Edel was born in France in 1890. He showed in the Provincetown area from c.1920 to c.1940. His work was also displayed in the Edel Gallery in Provincetown. He worked in oils, watercolors, drawings, and etchings. His style is "representational." He may have been married to Stella Edel, a famous Provincetown block printer. He died in 1961.
