Artist's Statement: "The "Found Fish" series evolved from a Castle Hill sculpture workshop with artist Paul Bowen in the summer of 1999. I created the first found fish during that workshop and my school of fish has grown over the past seven years to include over 80 individuals - all one-of-a-kind specimens.
"The sculptures are built from found wood and metal and various other reclaimed materials. My goal is to create lively and unique pieces (fish and other creatures) while manipulating the raw materials as little as possible."
Conny is a year-round Provincetown, MA resident and is our neighbor at Lookout Bay. We commissioned this original hand-crafted piece from her.
