Dan Rupe:Represented by the Ernden Gallery, Provincetown. Studied at Interlochen Arts Academy, Kansas City Art Institute, and Boston MFA School. Many one man and group shows in Boston, Chicago, Provincetown, New York, Phoenix, Kansas City, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Earlier representation in Provincetown was at the famed Ellen Harris Gallery. Chosen as International Artist in Residence in 1988 by Altos De Chavon (La Romana, Dominican Republic). Corporate collections include: AT & T, Bank of Oklahoma, Ameritech Mobile, Midwest Museum of Art, State of Illinois, Mission Hills State Bank, Heineman Bakeries, and PAAM. Was featured artist for Provincetown AIDS Support Group Annual Auction in 1996. Avid collectors include the former Governor of Illinois and Mayor of Chicago (Jim Thompson and Jane Byrne). Well collected artist and teacher.Represented in countless shows and collections.
