John Dowd: (b.1960) Represented by the William Scott Gallery, Provincetown, and the new William Scott Gallery in South Boston, 450 Huntington Avenue, Room 318. Studied at Notre Dame (architecture), Major award (Altmann Prize) from National Academy of Design. Very collected local artist, "Summer of ....." annual posters feature one of his works for last several years. His 2004 show nearly sold out with over 55 new paintings being offered and only a very few that did not. Highly collectible.
