Richard Joseph MacCormack (b.1962): Represented by Sandwich Art Gallery, Dunlay Gallery in Mashpee, Willoughby's on Martha's Vineyard; shows at CC Art Assoc, Boston Hospital, Harvard University, also greeting cards. Studied at RI School of Design (RISD) and Mass College of Art.This work is from a "Wet Art" contest conducted by Outer Cape Art Auctions in July, 2004, on the theme "A Summer Day in Provincetown." Paintings were done July 10-17, and presented at the auction July 17. This piece was painted on Commercial Street in front of the old Fire Station looking west from the intersection of Commerecial and Court streets.
